Russian Supply Ship Blasts Off for Space Station

Russia has launched an unmanned supply ship to deliver food, fuel and equipment to the crew aboard the International Space Station.

Russian space agency officials Saturday said the Progress M-57 craft blasted off from the Baikonur space center in Kazakhstan.

The spacecraft is expected to dock at the space station Monday.

Russian cosmonaut Pavel Vinogradov and U.S. astronaut Jeffrey Williams began their mission aboard the International Space Station in April.
