Argentine star Manu Ginobli of the NBA's San Antonio Spurs got into foul trouble and scored only 10 points. The Argentines were trying to win their third straight medal in a major international event, after taking the silver medal at the 2002 world championships and the gold medal at the Athens Olympics.
