Coalition Forces Kill 11 Insurgents in Iraq

Coalition forces say they have killed 11 militants and detained 24 suspected terrorists in operations across Iraq Saturday.

Officials say Iraqi troops also raided the Sadr City area of Baghdad in an effort to disrupt kidnapping and terror cells.

In the southern city of Basra, U.S. and Iraqi forces continue to search for five Western security contractors kidnapped this week. The condition of the four Americans and one Austrian was unclear.

Gunmen in Baghdad killed a senior official, Ali Al-Thab, in the main Shi'ite political party, the Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq.

And U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice called on Iraqis to work to resolve sectarian divisions. On a trip to Vietnam, she said the Iraqi people have one future, and that is a future together.

In the northern city of Mosul, a suicide car bomber attacked an Iraqi military base, wounding at least seven soldiers.
