Actor Tom Sizemore Arrested for Drug Possession

Police arrested Tom Sizemore on May 8 for possession of methamphetamine.

The 45-year-old actor, on probation for a previous drug arrest, was taken into custody as he sat in a car outside the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Bakersfield, CA. Officers had responded to an early morning report that a man had challenged an employee to a fight while attempting to check in.

The man, Jason Salcido of Whittier, CA, is believed to be an associate of Sizemore's. He was found to be on parole and carrying what police described as a pipe for smoking narcotics.

A search of Sizemore's car turned up two bags of suspected methamphetamine and additional pipes. Sizemore was arrested and booked at Kern County Jail for investigation of possession of methamphetamine, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

Tom Sizemore, who appeared in the films Saving Private Ryan and Blackhawk Down, was convicted of methamphetamine possession in 2004. After again testing positive for drugs in 2006, he was placed on three years' probation and ordered to submit to weekly drug tests.
