Tom Sizemore left a Los Angeles court in handcuffs after a June 5 hearing on charges that he violated his probation on a drug case.
The 45-year-old actor was ordered held pending an afternoon hearing to determine if he should be granted bail, and to schedule a later probation violation hearing.
Sizemore, who appeared in Saving Private Ryan, was arrested in May at a Bakersfield, CA hotel. Authorities said they found drugs in his car. He was released, but a Los Angeles judge later issued an arrest warrant for probation violation in another case involving methamphetamine possession.
In the Bakersfield case, Sizemore has pleaded not guilty to seven drug-related charges. They include transportation and possession of methamphetamines, unauthorized possession of prescription drugs, and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
He faces up to six years in prison if convicted.
