Bush to Meet with Prime Ministers of Bahamas, Barbados, Belize


President Bush is set to meet Thursday at the White House with the prime ministers of the Bahamas, Barbados, and Belize.

The leaders are expected to discuss strengthening democracy in the region, increasing social and trade ties, cooperating on security and crime, and improving the lives of the nations' citizens.

The prime ministers - Hubert Ingraham of the Bahamas, David Thompson of Barbados, and Dean Barrow of Belize - have all been elected within the past year.
