Egyptian officials say 12 people died Monday when their bus collided head on with a truck near the west coast of the Sinai peninsula.
Officials said seven of those killed were foreigners.
Egypt has a high rate of traffic accidents, due in part to bad road conditions and lax enforcement of traffic laws.
