Young Kidnap Victim Found Safe in Las Vegas

update

Police in the western U.S. city of Las Vegas, Nevada, say they have found a six-year-old boy, kidnapped by alleged Mexican drug dealers, safe and unharmed.

Police say they found Cole Puffinburger after a citizen reported seeing a child wandering alone late Saturday.

Puffinburger was the subject of a nationwide manhunt after members of a suspected Mexican drug gang, disguised as policemen, kidnapped him Wednesday from his Las Vegas home. The suspects took the boy after tying up his mother.

Police believe the kidnappers took Puffinburger as a warning to his grandfather, who is suspected of taking money from the drug gang.

Police have been holding the grandfather, Clemons Fred Tinnemeyer, for questioning.

They are also hunting for a Mexican man, Jesus Gastelum, as what police call a person of interest.
