An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 has struck the northern coast of Peru.
The U.S. Geological Survey says Monday's quake was centered 125 kilometers northwest of the city of Chiclayo, at a depth of 35 kilometers.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
