Baghdad Suicide Bomb Kills 25

Iraqi officials say a suicide bombing northeast of Baghdad has killed at least 25 people and injured 50 others.

Police say the bomber targeted a funeral Monday in the ethnically-mixed town of Jalawla, in Diyala province.

Earlier Monday, Iraqi police said a bomb explosion west of the capital killed at least eight people and wounded 16 others.

Monday's blast at a bus terminal in the Abu Ghraib district was the second major bombing in the area during the past two weeks.

On March 10th, a suicide bomber who blew himself up in an Abu Ghraib market killed 33 people, including tribal leaders, security officials and journalists.

Some information for this report was provided by AFP and Reuters.
