Seven men suspected of plotting to detonate a huge bomb in Britain have gone on trial in London.
The suspects were arrested in a major police operation in the London area in early 2004. Police say they found 600 kilograms of ammonium nitrate fertilizer in a warehouse during the raids. Ammonium nitrate is often used in making bombs.
The judge in the case warned the jury not to be influenced by reports on terrorism that have appeared in Britain's news media since last July's attacks on the London transport system that killed 52 people and the four suicide bombers.
