Internet portal Yahoo and entertainment giant Sony have agreed to develop a joint website to promote Sony electronics and entertainment products. Terms of the multi-year deal were not disclosed.
Yahoo officials said Tuesday the new website would automatically link some of its clients to a page carrying news and advertisements for Sony products. In return, Sony's Vaio computers will carry pre-installed software to enable users to register for both companies' products and services.
