Dateline: National War Memorial - 2001-08-21

Veterans from across the United States are helping build a unique war memorial, commemorating not only the men and woman of the U.S. military, but also those who served their country in other ways. Most American war memorials are located in Washington D.C., or in a major U.S. city. But as Jason Frederick tells us on this edition of Dateline, the 20th Century Veterans Memorial will be built in the nation's heartland, in North Platte, Nebraska.
