Dateline: A Return to Religion - 2001-10-23


It wasn't that long ago that a major news magazine asked the question on its cover, "Is God Dead?" But in times of trouble, many Americans have turned to religion for reassurance and hope. Since the September 11th terrorist attack, attendance has increased in churches, synagogues and mosques as Americans express a need for spiritual solace.

Dateline examines America's surprising religious revival in the wake of tragedy and terror. Here's Neal Lavon.
