Dateline: Three Faiths from the Middle East

Around the world, there have been numerous celebrations as one year ends and another begins. Muslims have observed the end of the holy month of Ramadan, Jews celebrated the festival of Channukkah, and Christians just finished celebrating Christmas. All three of those faiths which inspired these celebrations - Islam, Judaism and Christianity - emerged from the Middle East. An Israeli writer has gone on a quest to find the spiritual link among them.

In this Dateline report, Ross Dunn talks with Yossi Klein Halevi about the role the three faiths have played in his own spiritual development and on his understanding of the Middle East.
