Jim Stevenson came to VOA in 1992, as the organization celebrated 50 years on the air. He produced broadcasts to East Africa in three languages, before joining the Sports Division.
Jim began his broadcast career as a college student in the late 1970's, and later worked for commercial radio stations in Delaware.
He also was a morning host on the South Carolina Educational Radio Network, an affiliate of National Public Radio.
