Nigerian physicians in the United States are criticizing their government on the issue of child health. The group, The Association of Nigeria Physicians in the Americas or ANPA says not enough has been done to improve health care services for children. The health ministry defends its efforts. It says it's increased funding for child and maternal care and has made good progress. But the physicians disagree. The past president of ANPA, Dr. Alphonsus Obayuwana ( oh-bye-you-wah-nah ), recently visited Nigeria on a medical mission. He says there's not much evidence of success.
