On the third day of the national stay away called for by the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions, President Robert Mugabe spoke at the funeral of Stephen Nkomo, the Governor of Matebeland.
Though he did not talk about the stay away in his speech, he did accuse his opponents of being an extension of Western powers.
Mr. Nkomo died sunday. He was declared a national hero and was buried today at national heroes acre.
