As Zimbabwe's fuel crisis worsens there are now reports that the nation’s air carrier has just a few days of jet fuel left. Air Zimbabwe says the depleting fuel stock will not affect its operations.
Rambai Chingwena is Managing Director of Air Zimbabwe. He says the landing in Zambia yesterday of an Air Zimbabwe plane was routine. He says contrary to media reports the flight was not diverted to Lusaka because of the fuel crisis. Mr. Chingwena told Studio Seven’s Chinedu Offor that the airline has taken a number of steps to stay in business.
