Ferrari driver Michael Schumacher of Germany has captured his fourth Formula One race of the year, winning the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal.
Schumacher defeated his younger brother Ralf by 0.7 seconds Sunday to take the overall lead in the Formula One driver standings with 54 points. Kimi Raikkonen of Finland is second with 51 points, well ahead of number three Fernando Alonso of Spain with 34 and Ralf Schumacher of Germany in fourth place at 33.
The elder Schumacher, who is trying for a record sixth Formula One world championship, started third, but took over the lead when Ralf ducked off the track for service on the 20th lap. He finished in just under one hour, 31 minutes and 14 seconds with an average speed of nearly 201 kilometers per hour.
Ralf Schumacher, who started from the pole, finished second for the Williams-BMW team, while his teammate, Juan Pablo Montoya was third.
