Troubled media giant Vivendi has set Monday as the deadline for parties to submit bids for its entertainment assets.
The company hopes to gain as much as $14 billion for its Universal film studio and theme parks.
Vivendi is selling the Universal business unit as part efforts to reduce debt. A number of options are reportedly being explored, including a merger with the NBC television network.
