Russian Rockets to Launch Satellites for European Space Agency, South Korea - 2003-09-08

Russian rockets will send satellites into space next year for the European Space Agency and South Korea.

Officials at the Khrunichev Space Center say the two commercial launches by Russia's Rokot launch vehicle will be made from the Plisetsk launch pad in northern Russia.

The commercial launches are handled by Eurockot, a joint venture of the Khrunichev Space Center and Europe's EADS Space Transportation company.
