Christian Vieri scored a last minute goal to lead Italy's Inter Milan to its second straight victory of the Champions League, a 2-1 win over Dynamo Kiev of Ukraine.
Another Italian side, Juventus, also picked up its second victory of the campaign. Pavel Nedved scored a pair of goals to lead Juventus to a 2-1 win against Olympiakos in Greece. Also keeping their perfect starts intact were Real Sociedad of Spain and Monaco. Monaco dominated AEK Athens 4-0, while Sociedad defeated 10-man side Galatasaray 2-1 in Turkey.
It was also a good night for Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna, which picked up its first win with a 2-0 victory over PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Celtic of Scotland also got its first win, beating Lyon of France, 2-0.
In other results, Anderlecht of Belgium and Bayern Munich of Germany played to a 1-1 tie, while Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow and Arsenal of England battled to a scoreless draw.
