Philadelphia Remains Undefeated in NFL Action - 2004-10-03

\The Philadelphia Eagles remain undefeated in the National Football League with a 19-9 victory over the Chicago Bears. Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb completed 24-of-38 passes for 237 yards Sunday to help give his team its fourth straight win and best start since 1993.

The New England Patriots beat the Buffalo Bills, 31-17, to tie the NFL record of winning 18 straight games. New England has won 15 straight regular-season games, including three this season and three straight in the playoffs, capped by the Super Bowl in February.

The Atlanta Falcons have four straight wins this season, the latest a 27-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers. The New York Jets are undefeated after three games with a 17-9 win against the Miami Dolphins.
