NBA: Nuggets Clinch Northwest Division Title

The Denver Nuggets clinched the NBA's Northwest Division title with a 110-98 win over the Portland Trail Blazers Monday. Carmelo Anthony had 28 for Denver, which had not won a division championship since 1988.

Allen Iverson had 26 points and 15 assists to lead the Philadelphia 76ers over the Washington Wizards 105-97. The Sixers are now alone in the eighth and final playoff spot in the East with five games remaining.

The Orlando Magic won their fifth straight, defeating the Atlanta Hawks 105-88. The Magic are three games behind Philadelphia in the race for the last playoff spot.

Carlos Boozer poured in 25 points to lead the Utah Jazz past the Houston Rockets 85-83. Rockets center Yao Ming broke his left foot in the first quarter. He will miss the rest of the season.

LeBron James hit a jump shot from the top of the key with a half-second left to give the Cleveland Cavaliers a 103-101 victory over the New Orleans Hornets.

Dirk Nowitzki also hit a last-second jumper from the top of the key to give Dallas a 75-73 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

And the Indiana Pacers grabbed a share of sixth place in the East with a 101-82 win over the New York Knicks. Stephen Jackson had 28 for the Pacers.
