Crowds in Belfast Pay Respect to Best

Massive crowds lined the streets of Belfast Saturday to watch the funeral procession of football legend George Best.

Police lined the packed route as a hearse covered in flowers drove through the former Manchester United and Northern Ireland star's hometown.

Best died last week at the age of 59 after a decades-long battle with alcoholism.

The British government granted permission for his funeral service to take place in the Grand Hall of Stormont Parliamentary Building. Best's funeral was expected to be the biggest Northern Ireland has ever seen.
