Cricket: England Takes 2-0 Lead in Zimbabwe Series

England's cricket team has defeated host Zimbabwe by 161 runs to take a 2-0 lead in their four-match one-day international series.

England scored 263 runs in its 50 overs in Harare. Kevin Pietersen led the tourists with 77 not out while Geraint Jones added 66 runs before being caught out for the sixth wicket.

Zimbabwe's Tinashe Panyangara took three for 61 in his 10 overs. The home side could then only manage 102 runs all out in 36 overs, with captain Tatenda Taibu leading Zimbabwe with 32 runs.

England's Paul Collingwood took three wickets while allowing 16 runs. England won the first match by five wickets on Sunday. The third and fourth matches of the tour are scheduled for Bulawayo Saturday and Sunday.

The tour was shortened from five matches after several British journalists were denied entry to Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwean government later relented but the first match had to be canceled.
