World number one women's golfer Annika Sorenstam of Sweden and Sherri Turner of the United States share a one-stroke lead in an incomplete second round of the Corning Classic in New York.
Sorenstam and Turner are at 7-under-par, 137 after 36 holes. They were among about half the field to complete Friday's second round, which was suspended by darkness after an earlier four-hour rain delay. Sorenstam shot a 4-under-par, 68, and Turner carded a 71.
American Moira Dunn is one stroke back at 138, while two other golfers, Sung Ah Yim, Karine Icher join her at 6-under-par, but still have have a few holes to play in the second round.
Sixty-four players need to complete the round early Saturday, weather permitting, before the third round gets under way.
