Afghan Police Officer, Hailed as a Hero in New York City

A Muslim law enforcement officer is being hailed as a hero in New York City for driving a vehicle with a suspicious explosive device out of a crowded area. He told VOA that his goal was to save the public from harm and take the device as far from the Times Square crowd as possible. VOA’s Hasib Alikozai reports.
