At least 18 people have been killed in a wholesale market fire, authorities in southern China said Friday.
Local officials told the official Xinhua news agency that the fire broke out early Thursday afternoon on the fourth floor of a small market in Huidong County in southern Guangdong province.
Xinhua did not report on the cause of the fire or how many more people were possibly still missing in the building.
