An Iraqi man looks at the official website of the country's prime minister after it was hacked in Baghdad, February 2, 2013.

Iraqi authorities say hackers have attacked the official website of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

A group calling itself Team Kuwait Hackers has posted two women weeping on the prime minister's website. The women expressed their support for Iraqis fighting against oppression.

The breech Saturday was the second time the website has been hacked.

Maliki is mired in a political crisis that has pitted him against many of his government partners, just months ahead of provincial elections.

The discord comes amid weeks of demonstrations in Iraq's majority-Sunni north and west. The protesters accuse Shi'ite-led authorities of targeting their community.
