During the first presidential debate between Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump, the candidates tangle over trade and the economy. At times, moderator Lester Holt allows the candidates to speak over each other and go beyond their two-minute time limits.

Hillary Clinton uses Donald Trump's comments that she doesn't have the stamina, shifting from presidential looks, to bring up Trump's use of calling women pigs and dogs.

Moderator Lester Holt poses to Donald Trump: Hillary Clinton became the first female presidential candidate in July, but then asks why Trump says she doesn't have the presidential look.

Donald Trump says she doesn't have the look or the stamina, such as in negotiating deals.

Clinton hits back with, as soon as he travels to 112 countries and negotiates peace deals, and even mentions her 11-hour testimony to a congressional hearing, then he can talk to her about stamina.

Hillary Clinton says if Donald Trump is going to criticize a deal, such as the Iran nuclear deal, then he should tell us what his alternative should be. She then mentions his plan to defeat Islamic State, which he says he won't discuss so as not to let them know his plan.
