Pakistani officials say a suspected U.S. drone strike in South Waziristan has killed at least one person who is believed to have been a militant.

Officials say at least two missiles were fired into the Sheen Warsak region on Saturday.

Security officials say the same area was targeted in a Thursday drone strike that killed two suspected militants.

Local officials say the person targeted in Saturday's strike was a foreign-born militant with al-Qaida links.
