Rescuers still have found no sign of 52 fishermen missing after a South Korean vessel sank in the freezing waters of the western Bering Sea.
The 60-member crew was forced to abandon the boat after it took on water and began to list during a storm on Monday.
South Korean officials said Tuesday the four ships searching the remote area off the east coast of Russia have been hampered by harsh weather and rough seas.
Only seven crew members have been rescued so far, raising fears the death toll will be significant. One body has been recovered.
Four of those rescued were on a life raft together, and the rest were holding on to floating debris.
The crew included 35 Indonesians, 13 Philippine nationals, 11 South Koreans and one Russian inspector.
The Oryong 501 was built 36 years ago and is owned by the South Korean fisheries firm Sajo Industries. It was fishing for pollack.
