Forecasters have issued a tropical storm warning for Bermuda as Tropical Storm Gabrielle moves closer to the British island territory.

Flights have been canceled and ferry service suspended. The storm is expected to dump up to 15 centimeters of rain on Bermuda by Wednesday. Winds of 95 kilometers per hour are expected.

Forecasters predict Gabrielle will move in a northeasterly direction later this week, staying far from the U.S. east coast but bringing heavy rain to parts of Canada.
