Blasts Kill 6 in Kenyan Capital

Three explosions in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, have killed at least six people and wounded two dozen more in a coordinated strike.

The explosions occurred late Monday in a neighborhood with a large Somali population.

The city's police chief said at least 25 were wounded.

Two restaurants and the exterior of a women's health clinic were hit.

The Somali militant group al-Shabab has long threatened attacks in Kenya unless the country withdraws its troops from southern Somalia.

Al-Shabab claimed the attack on Nairobi's Westgate Mall in September, in which at least 67 people were killed.
