5 Killed In Syrian Blast

Syrian activists and state media say a bomb blast near a school has killed at least five people. Some reports say students are among the dead, but the reports have not been confirmed.

The car explosion happened Sunday in the town of Umm al-Amed in the province of Homs.

The United Nations says at least 70,000 people have been killed in the nearly three year conflict between Syrian rebels and the government.
