The U.S. Food And Drug Administration (FDA) is searching for the cause of a salmonella outbreak that it has traced to raw tomatoes. More than 165 people across the U.S. have become ill with salmonella poisoning since April.
On June 7, the FDA issued an advisory, warning consumers not to eat several common types of tomatoes. VOA Producer Barry Unger has more in a report voiced by Tony Budny.
