Top seed Novak Djokovic of Serbia has won his second Wimbledon men's tennis title.
Djokovic defeated fourth seed Roger Federer of Switzerland in five sets, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 5-7, and 6-4.
The 27-year-old surrendered a 5-2 lead in the fourth set and then a match point before pulling out the win at the All England Club. He also won at Wimbledon in 2011.
The win snapped Djokovic's streak of three straight losses in Grand Slam finals and ended the 32-year-old Federer's attempt at a record eighth Wimbledon title.
Sixth seed Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic won her second women's Wimbledon tennis title Saturday, crushing Canadian Eugenie Bouchard, 6-3, 6-0.
Kvitova dominated her thirteenth-seeded opponent, needing just 55 minutes to earn her second Grand Slam title - the other being Wimbledon in 2011.
The shy, left-handed 24-year-old Kvitova dropped just one set in the entire tournament at the All England Club. She had not made it to a Grand Slam final since beating Maria Sharapova three years ago.
