When the Supreme Court ruled that money was equivalent to speech it abridged our first amendment rights. When money equals speech, speech isn't free.

It is good to know the world leaders are concerned I can only hope that it could have an impact on the, I can't even find the right word, for the outrageous out of controll spending on both sides trying to hinder the entire process of how a democracy needs to and should work for the people of the united states. It is a disgrace and an imbarresment to all of in the US

Kofi Annan has reason for concern as should the 99 percent that have painfully slow realization the direction America's political system is turning. When money controls the vote, media coverage is lopsided, political commercials are legally slanderous, and the selection of candidates are limited to those chosen for by the "system" for the system, we the 99 percent are in dire straits.... Big Brother is no longer a mythical probability but rather the vague shadow behind the government’s corrupt leadership pulling the strings.
