Indian policemen stand guard next to a passenger train in which two explosions occurred, at the railway station in the southern Indian city of Chennai, May 1, 2014.
Twin blasts have ripped through a passenger train in India just minutes after it pulled into Chennai's railway station, killing a woman and injuring at least nine people.

Authorities said the two explosions early Thursday morning were in two sleep coaches on the Bangalore-Guwahati Express train.

Police are investigating what they suspect were bombs planted under passenger seats. Dogs are sniffing around the crime scene and checking passengers' luggage for explosives.

No one has claimed responsibility for the blasts, which come amid heightened security for India's massive general election.
