A court in Indonesia has sentenced two men to prison for involvement in bomb attacks last year on two luxury hotels in Jakarta.

The South Jakarta District Court sentenced Rohmat Puji Prabowo to seven-and-a-half years in prison for sheltering the late terrorist leader Noordin Top and driving a vehicle carrying explosives.

In a separate trial, the court sentenced the second man, Supono - alias Kedu - to six years in prison for involvement in transporting Noordin.

Noordin was killed during a police raid last September in Central Java.  He had allegedly masterminded the July 2009 attacks on the Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels in Jakarta, which killed seven people, and he also was linked to the 2002 and 2004 terrorist bombings on Indonesia 's Bali island.

Earlier this month, a man accused of serving as Noordin's driver was convicted of taking part in the Jakarta hotel bombings and a plot to assassinate President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.  Amir Abdilla was sentenced to eight years in prison.
