Japan Braces for Second Typhoon
Japan is bracing for its second Typhoon in as many weeks.
Typhoon Francisco is bringing heavy rain and strong winds and will make landfall in parts of Japan on Thursday.
Japanese forecasters say Typhoon Francisco could gain intensity by the end of the week as it heads toward Izu Oshima island. Many people have begun evacuations.
"This is home so I would rather stay, but what can you do?" wondered one resident.
"I am a little concerned but I am taking people's advice to evacuate," said another.
Disaster teams are still searching for people believed to be buried in mudslides caused by Typhoon Wipha last week.
