Massive Explosion of Texas Fertilizer Plant

An explosion at a fertilizer plant in Texas has caused dozens of injuries and serious damage to several nearby buildings.

The plant was located in a small community located just outside the town of Waco. Authorities say the blast on Wednesday evening was so large many buildings collapsed and some caught fire. The cause of the explosion is not known.

The CEO of a local hospital told CNN that over 66 people have been admitted with serious injuries, including blast and orthopedic injuries.
