The trial of ousted Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi resumed Saturday in Cairo.
The charges against the former leader and 14 other defendants stem from violence outside the presidential palace in December 2012 when Morsi's supporters attacked protesters staging a sit-in.
The trial is one of four Mr. Morsi and other top leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood are facing. Most of the charges carry the death penalty.
Morsi was ousted by a military coup.
