Another Pakistani politician has offered a bounty for the murder of the producer of a video that denigrates the Prophet Muhammad.

During a rally in the northwestern city of Peshawar Monday, former Pakistani legislator Ikramullah Shahid said he would give $200,000 to anyone who killed the filmmaker. The low-budget video that was made in the United States was posted on the Internet and triggered world-wide protests by Muslims.

Shahid's offer comes after Pakistani Railway Minister Ghulam Ahmad Bilour offered a $100,000 bounty for the maker of the anti-Islam film roughly two weeks ago.

In an interview with Radio Free Asia, Minister Bilour said he issued the bounty "out of respect for the prophet" and because the United States is "not going to pass any such laws" to prevent violence sparked by the film.

Some 15,000 people took part in Monday's rally in Peshawar, which was organized by the Difa-e-Pakistan Council -- an umbrella group of Islamist organizations. Past protests against the anti-Islam film have turned deadly in Pakistan.

All facts like the Biggest Buddha Statue in Afghanistan, also present are 'nt related to Buddhism. But Muslims always attack Buddhism. Why? Buddha images in pictures are printed on women's shoes as fashion , what Buddhism said? Muslim prophet and god only to be respected others too. Muslim era is the youngest, Christian is older , Buddhism is over 2500years and Hindu is oldest can't be estimated. Why youngest religious trusters insult old religious relations? Why don't they know about respect? Mohamet wasn't he didn't teach his trusters about respect, forgive, forget, stay in peace, calm, meditate, and so alot of good things.

And that is the problem with a modern state instigating terrorism in the name of LOVE for muhammad. This is absolute nonsense. If a government man will publicly make this statement and no one condemns him, smirks of decay. Where are we heading with this? Someone should tell that madman that we are not in the era of jungle men, we are living in the modern age where freedom of individuals is a matter of right.

To make such stupid declaration against a citizen of another country shows the ignorance of these prehistoric peoples living in a civilized world. And this minister is in office because he is paid salary guaranteed by subvention from USA, but rather than justify his pay by the output desired, he uses his time to organize riots with hooligans and loafers. What a shame! The so called minister does not merit to be a minister at all - shows how backward Pakistan is - and should be relieved of that post immediately for the shame of his uncivilized statement, even though those threats a mere ranting of an ant since neither the monster nor his co-rioters have access to USA in this life or the life to come.

I did not see any Buddhist communities rioting or burning any mosques in retaliation to what the Muslims did to their temples. What did this show to the Muslim communities? Why Muslim people always preach violence and destruction to those who do not share their belief? People have the right to voice their opinions and beliefs as well. You Muslims are not the only people who believe in God. I do not think any God would allow killing and destroying other people places of worship because people are not Muslim and do not believe in Mohamad.
