Obama Tackles Last-Minute Holiday Shopping

TEXT SIZE - +

U.S. President Barack Obama set off for a shopping trip on Wednesday to buy Christmas presents for his daughters and for the family dog.

His first stop was a pet supply store where President Obama picked out a rubber bone for his dog Bo, who had come along for the ride.

At an electronics retailer, the president bought video games for his daughters, who are vacationing in Hawaii with the first lady. Obama has delayed his trip to Hawaii to deal with a deadlock in Congress over a payroll tax.
