Passenger Jet Crash Lands in San Francisco

A Boeing 777 passenger jet has crash landed at the San Francisco International Airport in California.

Witnesses say the tail of the Asiana Airlines flight fell off just before the aircraft struck the runway. A large cloud of smoke could be seen streaming from the plane.

Officials say this was an emergency landing.

There is still no information on casualties or the origin of the flight.
