At least five people were killed after a cargo ship slammed into a port facility in the northern Italian coastal city of Genoa.
The port's 50-meter tall control tower was toppled in the accident, which occurred late Tuesday night as the Italian-flagged Jolly Nero was departing.
At least four other people were injured, while several others are unaccounted for, as the wreck occurred during a shift change.
Some of the missing are believed to be trapped inside the wrecked tower.
