this UN is beginning to look like a sad perverse joke... Hey Mr. Moon, go condemn Israel for something... or may be another visit to countries in need of alignment... like Iran

What a sick joke! The insurgents are incapable of toppling the Syrian government and are loosing ground, capable only of desperate suicidal attacks. And like clockwork Turkey joins the fight with the "promise" of NATO support no less...

these are not "desperate" suicide attacks... its a religious command... THAT is ISLAM... nothing desperate about it... the 9/11 Arabs were not desperate... to think that this is desperation you must be a "western" - Jewish or Christian... trust me, I know... you must bring yourself to look at it... i know its hard... but it is what it is...

Video US Oil Surge Could Impact Mideast Geopolitics

The United States will account for a third of new oil supplies over the next five years, and will become energy self-sufficient in 20 years, according to a new report by the Paris-based International Energy Agency (IEA). Although U.S. oil imports from Arab Gulf countries increased last year, analysts predict the U.S. will lose its dependence on Middle East imports, which is expected to have a huge impact on international relations and the balance of power. VOA's Henry Ridgewell reports.
